Individual Therapy (Telehealth)
Hi, my name is Nicole! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in the Cleveland area.
As a person in the world, I feel sad for how spaces meant to support our mental and emotional health often feel today. My hope is that through our work together, we can create a space that feels supportive and can counteract the impact of the profit driven mental health system, along with other day to day experiences and interactions that may feel harmful, overwhelming, or lonely.
With these commitments as my foundation, I prefer to lean into the client-therapist relationship. This may look like utilizing this rapport to help you cultivate compassion for yourself and your stories, generating curiosity and awareness during sessions, being a holding space for you to exist as you are, and centering you as the expert of your inner world and lived experiences. All are aspects of tending to and a form of connection that I appreciate, and feel are important for ongoing care.
As a therapist, my trauma-informed clinical work is guided by narrative therapy, humanistic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and somatic-based practices, while also integrating mindfulness, creativity, and parts work.
I am passionate about working with young adults, as this time in life can bring many complex life transitions, lots of curiosity and confusion, and relationship challenges as you evolve into a different version of self during this developmental stage in life. Other areas of focus include supporting marginalized communities and identities, self-discovery, grief work, relationships, queer and LGBTQIA+ community, traumas, disordered eating and body image concerns, neurodivergence, and anxiety. We may be a good fit together if you are looking for therapy that feels slower paced in nature, with intentional focus on relationship, emotional processing, and story exploration.
